I like to imagine that I would be a great alcoholic beverage connoisseur/critic, if not for my very vivid and unappealing observations. For example, I have had a scotch that tastes like a smoky hotel carpet, a wine that tastes like a fetid river’s breeze, and a tequila that tastes like rotten armadillo and desert air on a chilly spring evening.
It’s not for lack of access to nice...

Photoshop Sketch Requests?
There might not be anyone on the internet on Sundays, but I figured I would give this a shot:
To practice free-hand PS drawing more, I’ve been doodling off-and-on and producing things like this. Unfortunately, my ideas usually run pretty dry after 10 minutes of sketching and my wife is getting tired of being bothered by my constant whining of ‘what should I draaaw’. So! What...

I was scratching my back obliviously and got palmed an SD card like a goddamned spy movie.
I have no idea why, but I am in a goddamned spy movie.

After briefly catching a clip of 2 Broke Girls on TV, K and I decided it was possibly the worst sitcom we had ever chanced seeing. It’s not without redemption, however, and we have two differing theories as to what would instantly boost it into becoming The Best Show In The World.
My Theory: The show should ditch any pretense of being a sitcom and simply feature Kat Dennings (illustrated...
lycius asked: I have to thank you for that last Chaos Life comic, for introducing Gramatik, they're pretty much badass. Also, now I really want to see those horses animated....

The Universal - Blur
Probably one of my favorite videos of theirs just for Damon Albarn’s wonderfully manic expressions. Ironically, it is based largely on A Clockwork Orange (film) which I hate. Don’t get me wrong, the book is one of my favorites of all time, but.. Aaah, we won’t get into that now.

Me: I’m afraid…
K: … Afraid of what?
Me: … … that the chili is the shit!
K: WHOO!
Me: WHOO! (we dance for a minute)
K: ‘Cause I was afraid I would have to kill you! Ha!
Me (stops dancing): Wait. What?
Our real lives: weirder than the comics.

Annie’s hands are so incredibly strong from drawing she accidentally Hulk-smashes all of our nice things. Like several glasses, plates, doorknobs and recently our bathtub. Cartoonists: Do not fuck with them.
I feel like I’m neglecting my life’s true calling: a Strangling Hitman.

So, that comic earlier.
It has a gif now, thanks to Theditor.
Also, he was kind enough to provide a mashup of the horses with their intended music. In his own words, do with that as you will.

Page in Progress...
Adulthood means you get to operate one of these—:
—completely unsupervised, while under the influence. Honestly, this seems like a really bad idea.
Also, I would like to take this opportunity to point out that Bristol Board needs to come in an 8½ x 11” format for those of us reckless dumbasses that use that particular size. Whatever becomes of my fingers, I blame on you,...

My wife and I were just making some soup, and I thought I would be cute:
Me (slicing mushrooms): Guess what?
K (adding spices): What?
Me: I love you!
K: I love you, too! Like, more than anything. I mean— (I will skip over the particulars, but what she launched into was a 5-minute-long monologue about how she feels that left us both in tears of sappy affection, hugging each other like...

Comics Alliance & ChaosLife →
We were mentioned on Comics Alliance Best Webcomics Ever (This Week), which is a little weekly round-up of good webcomics. We’ve actually been reading their weekly roundup since they started it, and man, it’s sort of awesome to see your webcomic on that list all of the sudden without any prompting on our parts (I mean, other than actually.. drawing.. and writing.. the comics?). So,...

20 frames from Albert Freiherr von Schrenck-Notzing’s cinematographic film taken on 25th of June 1913 of Stanisława P emitting oral ectoplasm. The bright flash from the photographic process caused the sensitive substance to retreat back into Stanisława, which is what you are viewing here. The complete film is archived at the University of Freiburg at the Institute of...

I've never been more embarrassed...
In our years of very random purchases, my wife and I have been subject to a variety of very random catalogs showing up at our doorstep. However, never in my life, have I ever been so embarrassed as to receive the Museum Replicas Limited catalog. Its very name is hypocritical— these are neither museum replicas, nor limited in their quantity. They are veritable piles of crap all over...

This one’s for you, jalopydactyl.
jalopydactyl asked: Ahh I am sorry that I am late showing my appreciation for Space Ghost. Earlier I was reading stuff for class and I giggled to myself over the reference, then vowed I would later say something about it, but I never did. What made me giggle most I think, was the exact Space Ghost tidbit that popped immediately in my head... it was the episode with Bjork as his wife. I need to find that immediately....

aburningrose replied to your post: Okay wait, people didn’t get the Space Ghost reference? There are PEOPLE who haven’t seen SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST? I’m sorry I just had to express my sincere distress over this fact and I didn’t see a comment button or some such. Zorak and Brak were my homies.
I’m gonna be honest. Although I’m aware of Space Ghost’s existence, I’ve never really watched a...
